This is a modified Low Temperature version full hot end kit for Flashforge Guider 2, Guider 2 and Inventor 2 3D printers.
It includes an all metal core that replaces the heatbreak and PTFE Tube ( Even the HT Version has a PTFE tube)
An all-metal hot end design for a 3D printer offers several advantages:
-
High-Temperature Printing: All-metal hot ends can handle much higher temperatures compared to standard hot ends with PTFE liners, which degrade at temperatures above 240°C. This makes it possible to print with materials like Polycarbonate (260°C) and Nylon (240°C) without worrying about the liner breaking down.
-
Durability: Since there's no PTFE liner that needs to be replaced, all-metal hot ends are more durable and require less maintenance.
-
Reduced Clogging: The absence of PTFE reduces the risk of filament clogging, especially when printing with materials that have a higher melting point.
-
Consistent Extrusion: All-metal hot ends provide more consistent extrusion, which can improve print quality, especially for high-temperature materials.
-
Versatility: With the ability to print at higher temperatures, you can use a wider range of filaments, expanding the versatility of your 3D printer.
However, it's worth noting that all-metal hot ends can have higher friction and may require adjustments to retraction settings.
