Brass heat block. Brass has a much higher thermal mass than traditional Aluminium, but is much more cost effective than the expensive plated copper options. Although initially slower to heat up, the Brass block results in a much more stable temperature whilst printing. Brass does however initially heat up slower.
Available in either 60W or 40W Our new ceramic heaters not only have the power to rapidly heat up the head form cold but have more than enough staying power to cope with longer print runs and higher temperatures.
The new Vulcan HV V6 kit comes with our Titanium all metal heat break as standard, further enhancing its high temperature pedigree.
When it comes to nozzles we certainly have not skimped on either the quantity or quality of our offering, we include a total of 6 nozzles with diameters of 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0mm in both brass for standard printing and in stainless steel for increased wear resistance and durability.
Nozzles are fully interchangeable with the e3d range & other compatible nozzles and accessories.
CAUTION: Before you purchase this kit, please check that your printer power supply has sufficient capacity to cope with the increased draw from the heater the 60W heater draws a full 5A at 12V, for this reason you may also want to consider including a MKS MOS25/Heatbed power expansion board which can be fitted to protect your control board from the additional current drawn.
If you want large parts, in less time, with improved strength then this kit is what you need, it enables you to print at high layer heights, through large nozzles, and extrude much more plastic per second. This results in significantly reduced print times.
