This is a high quality IP67 industrial grade NPN NC inductive sensor with a 5V input voltage and 4 wire connection for direct connection to Einsy Rambo control board as used on the Prusa i3 MK3 & MK 2.5 3D printers, 2mm sensing range.

Includes built in NTC Thermistor for temperature compensation.

As an industrialised premium product, it has features that make it much more robust and durable than that originally fitted to the Prusa i3 MK3 & MK2.5 in particular an additional shroud for strain relief. Red LED indicator provides visual indication of operation

M8 screw fitting. Additional technical specifications: Hysteresis: <10% of detection distance. Response Frequency: 600HZ. Voltage Ripple:10% operating voltage. Load Current:<0.01mA. Current Consumption: <10mA. Residual Voltage: <1.0V DC.Operating Temperature: -25~70℃

Sensor has short-circuit protection and Reverse Polarity Protection built in.

The 2mm sensing range means that the bed needs to be reasonably flat before attempting calibration.

PLEASE NOTE: the 2mm range is for Ferrous materials such as steel, ranges for other materials such as Aluminium may be considerably less. Not recommended for glass surfaces.

better than from Prusa

built in NTC Thermistor for temperature compensation, led flashes when sensing, two nuts to fine tune position, 2mm range.
